How It Began

Our Story

In time, this space will hold the story of how we met, the moment we knew, and the proposal that brought us here. For now, simply know this: we could not be more eager to become husband and wife, surrounded by those who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our story, and for joining us as we begin this next chapter.

Getting Here

Traveling to Bigfork

Bigfork rests along the northeastern shore of Flathead Lake, in the heart of Northwest Montana. Allow us to suggest the most graceful way to arrive.

FCA

Glacier Park International

Nestled in Kalispell, this is the closest airport to Bigfork and our warmest recommendation.

~30–35 min drive
MSO

Missoula International

A larger airport offering greater flight options, followed by a scenic drive north along Highway 93.

~1 hr 45 min – 2 hr drive
GEG

Spokane International

Worth considering should you find a favorable fare, followed by a longer yet exceptionally scenic drive through the Idaho panhandle.

~3.5–4 hr drive
During Your Stay

Our Cherished Pastimes

A curated selection of the places we hold dearest throughout Bigfork and the Flathead Valley.

Lake Day

Flathead Lake

The largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Swim, paddleboard, or take in a sunset cruise departing from Bigfork's own marina.

Village

Downtown Bigfork

Wander the galleries, boutiques, and garden patios of Electric Avenue, and, timing permitting, enjoy an evening at the Bigfork Summer Playhouse.

Hike

Jewel Basin Hiking Area

Alpine lakes, huckleberries in season, and trails suited to every ability, just a short drive from town.

Day Trip

Glacier National Park

Roughly ninety minutes from Bigfork. We suggest devoting a full day to the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and the trailheads near Logan Pass.

Sip & Sample

Local Wineries & Breweries

Flathead Lake Brewing Co., alongside a handful of local wine and cider makers, offers a lovely way to while away an afternoon.

On the Water

Swan River

Paddle, float, or simply linger where the Swan River meets the lake, one of our most treasured quiet spots.
